So Carlos and I went over to Wareham to Dave's house Saturday morning and we were there all day just chillin and doing a few mods to get an early jump on the season. DaveDave did a great job with everything Carlos' xBallin xB now has spacers and we baked my headlights and painted the housing black, and we re-did my engine cover. The engine cover looks really wet, but the flash was on... it came out great and now the next step is the CF letter overlays that I ordered from Randode. Here's a bunch of pics... enjoy!

yeah i love the new look. the pictures dont do any justice, it looks even better in person.
also, i didnt actually think that carlos' spacers would make much of a difference, but its amazing since you can definitely notice as soon as we put the car back down. itll look much better once he pus his rims on.... i think i may get some spacers too

i like the xA engine cover and the cleared out turn signals. I think i may steal a friend's xA one day and do her headlights + engine cover for her.

question on the engine cover spray. You used a primer and then what type of spray did you use, not color but brand?

Been thinking of doing the same to my engine cover, did you just clean it prime it and spray it or did you have other prep that had to go into it?

 

we had to sand off the old paint that was on it (it was painted previously but we re-did it), then primed, sanded to get rid of imperfections, primed again i think, then coats of paint and then clearcoated to give it some shine.

i dont remember who posted. but if u want the tC headlights smoked (or the houseing painted) then it would probly cost u 30-40 (probly 30) for the sidemarker only, and probly twice that for the painted housing. it all depends.

paiting the dash will be about the same either. plus u gotta buy the paint and stuff.

just talk to me maybe we can work somethin else
