Default I got new 15" wheels

Great wheels to go with your stock tires. I got a great deal on them at Discount Tire.
Konig Incident.

BTW...that is my son in the driver's seat. FUTURE SCION OWNER!

Next mod was new taillights, but they ended up being crap.

I have Cold Cathodes on the way for my interior.

I have had a lot of compliments on my wheels.

Congrats on the tires.

They look very good.

I just ordered 15" Konigs based on your thread, today.

That credit system was pretty fast. BAM! I ordered.

Did you happen to see those extremely marked down Konigs SLR 15"s?

They are now $85 and they were originally around $145.

I grabbed those because it seemed liked an super deal.

How fast was delivery?

Good luck with the new sapatos!

Thanks for the compliment and congratulations yourself!

I went to the store and bought mine, but I am sure they are pretty quick shipping.

Post pics when you get yours.

So you went there and they took off the stock tires and put them on your new wheels?

May I ask what the whole thing cost you?

New lugs and hubcentric rings too?

thanks in advance and again very nice

I honestly know nothing about KONIGS, do you?

I have heard the name before, though.

When I made the switch to 15's on my stock tires, a local shop charged me 20 per wheel for the change over. Lugs came with the rims (ordered from discounttire.com).

My local Discount Tire didn't charge any extra to take the tires off the steelies, but did charge $11 per to spin balance them on the new wheels.
Wheels were $65 each (MB Seven X)
Lugs were $45
Chrome stems $12
No rings
$44 to balance
Tax
OTD: $382

Well, for me.

I noticed I didn't hear any info on the shipping date so I called and they tell me they are out of stock.

Yet, the website listed them as in GOOD and LOW stock.

THey are gonna still try and get them for me. I doubt it.

THe mark down was way too low for them to last.

STINKs!

love the rims. quick ? It's 15"x6.5" on stock tires correct? It didn't stretch the sidewalls of the tire did it?

Nice wheels! Hard to go wrong when doing biz with Discount Tire. Every time I need tires or wheels, I shop around, but end up buying from Discount. Maybe I'm just a slow learner...

Dunno what taillights you tried, but I put on some of these almost a year ago, and they've been flawless-

http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...4&parts_id=388

Installation was a little bit of a pita because of my XL paws, and I'm sure I'll have to pull the assy to change a bulb, but they fit, look, and work great...

I have an older style of 15x7 MB wheels, and if the stock tires are stretched, it's not noticeable...

I never got better mileage than 33, and that was only once, but I'm a notorious leadfoot... With the 5 spd and the TRD muffler, mine's a blast to drive- not really fast, but eager...

Jhhnn, were those stock tires the Goodyear Eagles by any chance? If so then I'm glad to hear that there isn't a stretch on a 15x7 rim as the rims I want only come in that size, OZ Ultraleggera. Now If I can only find them for a reasonable price, not too many places sell OZ.

Yeh, DriverXa- those same Goodyear Eagle LS 185/60R15. It's the recommended size for your ultraleggeras for xA's on Tire Rack's website, too...

These are what I have-

http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/product.php?wheel=747

Purchased on a closeout deal at Discount. I like Xbfemme's wheels better, but only one person was going to get the deal I did- it was the last set in stock... and the manager's first sale on a saturday morning.
