could someone tell me-
1. why I should want coilovers?
2. the difference between Tein Basic and Tein Super Street?
3. recommendations for coilover? Tein? K-sport? Tanabe?
4. what kind of drop I can get (I'm running on hotchkis springs right now)?

1. Most peopel get C/O because they wanna go lower than any spring and also they want a shock that matches the spring and offers a more sportier ride than springs (most of the time).
2. Tein Basics are just ride height adjustable while the SS are 16 way adjustable.
3. My recommendation would be Cusco. You can slam it to the ground, has Pillow Ball upper mounts, and in some kits are 8 way adjustable in the rear. And also offers a nice sporty ride that isn't unbearable. Also I prefer name brand stuff because I know quality will be good.
4. For the Tein's, you won't be going past 3 inches drop front and rear.

i like my basics, the ride is nice. only thing is i cannot go any lower in the back. I need to load my car, because Katchkilla's car has the same setup as me with 16's too but he is 1.5" lower than me in the back.
