Question about Tires.
What is a Uni-directional tread design? Does that mean when you have the tires rotated you can only take the front left & swap it with the rear left & the front right with the rear right to keep the tread facing the same way?
Uni-directional tread designs are typically the V-tread tires you see. Different designs available, but they are designed to be mounted a certain side out, so yes - left side can only be rotated on the left side (Front to rear), and likewise for the right. But that's how you're supposed to rotate your tires anyhow, not supposed to switch sides. Tires and tread can separate if you swap sides. Brought to you by your friendly Discount Tire employee :D
