Default HOW TO CLEAN THESE WHEELS???? HELP!!

I went out and bought some Black Magic wheel cleaner to clean my wheels, and when I sprayed it on my wheels, it left what looks like watermarks on them!!! However, they are not watermarks and they wont come off with just soap and water!!!

I went back to Autozone and told them about it, and they referred me to another "all purpose" wheel cleaner to use, and it did the exact same thing, so now it's even WORSE!!!

Can anyone please help me figure out what to do?
These are not chrome wheels, but I dont really know what else they are!!

Here are my wheels... they are Urban Racing - Type 8:

you may have to use a rubbing compound to get those spots off.. after that i would just use soap and water....then a wax or polish

soap and water is the best wheel cleaner around. guaranteed to not mess them up. i've never used a wheel wax myself so i can't speak on it.

I have used Mother's Mag wheel cleaner and Wax... take those 2 sprays back to AutoZone and get this...My wheels are powder coated Enkei's and it cleaned them up front and back. I also used it on my CAI and it polished it to a perfect shine, Just a fingertip full and work it is should do a quarter of the wheel....Good luck!

Thanks for all of your suggestions!

I will be going back to Autozone and getting the Mother's Mag wheel cleaner. And some wax for the wheels!!! Is there a certain kind of wax that is made for wheels/metal? or will any work?

i used the same cleamer before and it did the same thing to my old wheels and i was kinda P.O about it , it takes some cleaning and elbow grease to make them look good again but one thing i learned about it is dont spray it on wheels that are warm or hot like just after you drove it let them cool pray it one let in sit for a minuet and them wash it off quick, i dont use that garbage anymore, just good carwash and sponge, and a brush for doing the tires

Those cleaners have phosphoric acid that etches into the bare metal surface - they recommend testing before using and keep it off the brake parts and rotors or it will eat them up too. Same thing about the metal polish - try it on a small spot on the inside first or just do a small area to see what it does before you do the entire wheel.

I never use those spray wheel cleaners, saw bad results on my Dad's Alloys. Soap and water works best, I usually wax them about once a month with the rest of the car.
