Default help choosing offset

Okay, so I want Work Equip 03's in 15x8. I haven't seen anyone with them on an xA yet, so I didn't know who to ask, so I'm going to ask you guys. I need your help and opinions on what offset to get.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...&highlight=15s

In this thread subcode is running 15x8 Sportmax 002's with 0 offset. He's running 225/50 tires so it does look a lot bigger. I'm planning on running 205/50 for a stretched look. I'm wondering what size offset I should run then. I don't want it to stick too far out the fenders. I want it to be in between what subcode has and what this car looks like.

Yeah, basically just sitting flush. So what do you guys think would be an ideal offset? +10 front, 0 rear? I also am going to get Ksport Coilovers. I'm wondering if you know knew if that's a big enough drop to cover the gap. If not, what coilovers give the biggest drop available? Like around 3-4 inches in rear.

Give Auto Fashion a call. They should give you plenty advice on the correct offset to get for the equip 03 as they are a dealer for work wheels and worked on many scions in the past, located in san diego. Ask for elroy or freddy.

I give you mad props for wanting the authentic real equip 03's and not the copies..real deal is the only way to go ! I'm saving up at the moment for some jdm wheels that will cost around $1300 for 15's...should have them within 3-4 months..

a +25/+20 offset( front/rear) would flush the fenders easy.

So what's new Panda? I was talkin about you the other day. If I had an xA, it would look like yours.

haha. whatsup kuya jason! just thought i'd say that. works are the most wanted rims for any JDM enthusiast. its the money that gets to people but it's well worth it in the end. that's my two cents.

Really? With 0 offset, it looks like it's barely sticking out the back. your wouldn't think something more along the lines of +15/+5 would look better? It'd stick out just a tad.

agreed with 20/25.
do 15 if you feel like rubbing during turns but nothing a lil rolled fenders cant take

if anyone wants these rims in 4x114, lmk. we have the perfect offset - brand new.

xB and xA have a slightly narrow track on the back. 0 offset on the front, the rims stick out too far. on teh back, they are tucked a little. actually, my back rims are not exactly the same distance out of the fender. irritates me too. but remeber, that the design and disc thickness will also change the offset.

That's exactly how I want it. So 20/25 is really what I want? or is it 15/20?

What size rims and tires? Also that's on an xB. I was wondering what would work for an xA. I know they're close, but they're not exactly the same. The pics of the 0 offset on the xA in the original post makes them look like they barely stick out. That's why I'm confused about the offsets you guys are telling me.

offsets work the same for both model so you know. My wheels would look on your like they look on mine. it's all the same but a shuttle vs. box

It's very hard. I rarely find any xAs that suit my taste. You're showing me a lot of pics and I thank you. But are all those rims 15x8? I'm asking because I haven't seen anyone rock Work Equips yet and if they were on a lot more like boxes, it'd be an easy question.

Sorry. It's my first car I'm modding, and I just want to do it right. I want to make sure I buy the right stuff that fits the best and looks the best. After much thinking, I think I want the rims to be just a tad over this.

I guess I want the rims to almost be flush and have tires like that (195/50) and tuck them under the fender if I can find a low enough drop.
