Dont take us back to those days, I can just see it now. Even the big dogs run with fat chrome wheels dont you know? Wire Wheels are so 1990's.

That is true. To be different you cant skimp on cost. So are you getting some Daytons or some knock offs?

gotta be careful when using the tern "knock offs" when talking about wire wheels... Not sure if you've ever had one, but old jags and MGs that came with "knock off" wire rims was a good thing. you see, in terms of wire rims, "knock off" refers to how the wheel is secured to the vehicle, knock offs use a bit "spinner" vice lugs to hold on the wheel... basically imagine a threaded hub... that's it, that's all that holds em on.... they come with a special hammer to put them on and off.... Daytons are pretty nice, but what I would get if I got wire rims is the "spinners" I think that the spinners are usually dorky, but with wires.... definitely get's my attention

I see. LOL thats what our 89 Buick came with then. A knock of hub cap. . I was just using the term as some no name brand that is cheap. Also didnt know they had spinner wires, that would be insane
