Default Automatics and Swaybar Installation

I've done several keyword searches here and found one instance where one of the members installed a Hotchkiss front swaybar on his automatic-equipped xB, and that then there were problems with the VSC and other things, he reset the ECU, but then the problems started back up again.

Has anyone here installed swaybars on an automatic xB successfully?

I have a set on the way and wonder whether I should just send them back????

Thanks, all!

I had the front and rear Hotchkis Sway Bars on my automatic XB for the last 2 months with no problems. The front sway bar is a pain unless you have some experience and a lift. I had mine installed by Gabe of www.precisionmuffler.com in Milpitas, CA. If you live in another part of the country just click on the map in your region on the first page of the forums. Ask the locals for a good shop in your area to do the install. Good Luck

thanks for the props wesleyt! Yeah you just need to make sure that a shop in your area does it with a lift and some knowledge of tranny removal. I say tranny removal because you need to remove the subframe and tranny folks know how to remove it. If your in my area come on over and we can install them for ya in no time! :D
