Default rOck and pinion steering!

Well, I had this noise in my suspension/steering. I thought it was when I was turning hard to park. Posted earlier about this, seemed to be determined to be the bump stops.

However, it kept on going and getting worse, even on small turns. I took it to the dealer a week or so ago, and when the tech was riding with me, it didn't make a peep. It made the noise on the way over there and on the way back, but not with the tech.

I took it back Friday, it had been sooo bad Thursday night. The tech (Jay at G-D in Brandon---Thanks man!) heard the noise and did all he could to figure it out.

In lookin' around, he went to take apart the rack and pinion steering and rocks (gravel) fell out!!!

I have no idea how gravel got in my steering, but the noise is gone! I can see in my mind how that would make the noise. Anyway, just thought I'd post in case any of you guys run into the same thing.
