Default Megan strut bar wont work with CAI?

I have a Fugita CAI and I went to go install my Megan strut bar, but it wont fit because the intake is in the way. The instake has the rubber isolator that screws into the battery tie down so it wont go down any further. Any one have any ideas, or know of strut bars that work with CAI?

What about the DC sport? it has a different design, is it enoough to get around the instake?

The only strut bar that will work with the F5 Fujita CAI will be a JIC strut bar. All other strut bars hit the very top most part of the intake pipe while the JIC goes over it. THe polished or CF strut bar from JIC will work either way. Hit up Island Motor Sports if your looking for a JIC one (714) 522-7457.

LOL that isn't JIC. Thats crap! lol Just call the shop and ask. It isn't $20 like that cause JIC is one of the premier suspension companies here in the US and Japan.

Alright, looks like the JIC one is around 150-170. I liked the Megan one because it was cheap, got mine for about 50 and I have heard that don't do that much. Is there a difference noticeable with the JIC one?

I have the Hotchkis bar, and while it's not as significant as a rear sway, it does make the box more neutral in harder turns.

My theory is that if you're going to get one, get a solid bar, anything put together with a nut and bolt isn't going to be as rigid as the DC Sports or Hotchkis.

Off the top of my head, Justin (hotboxn) has a CAI and the Hotchkis, you might pm him to see who makes his CAI...

my Injen intake fits well with the Tanabe strut bar. I paid 90 bucks for it at Direct Tuning.
