Default 501s + 5mm spacer?

i have a set of 501s on my box that im thinking of adding a 5mm spacer to.my question is, is it safe to run a 5mm spacer with out adding longer studs?i drive alot and i dont want to end up losing a wheel.just want to push the wheel out a bit to make it flush with the front wheel.will the stock tuds be long enough?

5 mm will be fine. Just make sure they are torqued down. Padanky on Club xB runs them without any problems. I was going to do 5 mm but decided on running 10 mm instead.

Just make sure you get at least 4 full threads of engagement... 5+ is better.

I bought these instead- http://www.onetongarage.com/products...him/index.html This way you don't need longer studs but they are about 10mm. Took about 30 min. to install. They also have these-http://www.onetongarage.com/products...cer/index.html

You can even and both the spacer shims and the a 5mm spacer. that is what I and SEXB909 have. It will push your rear wheels way out. Or you can just and the otg spacer shims. and that will put both the front and rear flush.
