Do not put the anti-size on the threaded coilover area, the anti-seize is typically for bolts and fasteners were there is heat build up The anti-seize prevents the materials from corroding, and seizing together making it hard to disassemble.

I actually put some anti-seize my ksports. Is that bad??

Domo 02-19-2009 06:13 AM

its probably bad since he said not to do that but im guessing it wont kill your coils..

dqlostsoulz 02-19-2009 06:16 AM

I dont think it is bad, but I wiped off what I could.

ok so just to clear up some more confusion i have, I understand that the front ssp coils dont need to transfer anything from the stock shocks correct? Is this the same for the rears? I dont need to transfer any bearings, dust shield, and etc.?

BlizZard 02-19-2009 02:03 PM

^ nope, nothing. Its a direct replacement :D

Domo 02-19-2009 03:44 PM

nice :)
when I install it, I will take some pictures of the front mounts...because I have no idea how to adjust the camber

nice DIY!!!! i didnt realize coilovers werent that complicated to install, you definitely made this install look possible for an amateur to do haha, kinda makes me wish I woulda tried to install them myself

Domo 03-11-2009 08:29 AM

j3st3r..im guessing you dont know how much these coils settle over a three week period since you got them used right? Does anyone know how much they will drop after fully being settled? I think ima go with 13 all around for now.

Under the arrows on your sideskirts, that is, unless you don't have a lip kit on.

any tips on removing the clips from the front weather strip??

Domo 03-12-2009 07:11 PM

Can anyone answer my question above please?

Ro_Ja 03-12-2009 07:46 PM

I don't think anyone measures how much they settle. It isn't much though. It's definitely not like springs.

Domo 03-12-2009 07:52 PM

ok thanks
