torque spec for rear top suspension bolt. Not the three 14 mms which have to be adjusted to 59 ft/lbs but the single 17 mm bolt.

thanks

Ok I have raceland c/o's and I was directed to this DIY for install procedure. It all looks pretty cut and dry but I have a custom box for my audio set up where my spare used to be. Will that affect my instalation of the rear c/o's? If so what can I do without messing with my audio set up..? thanks to anyone who offers the tips and help!

Well you have to remove the rear interior panels so if you have audio equipment that is in the back area you will have to either move it out of the way, or remove it temporarily to do the install

Can't you just pull out your box or whatever you have in there to do the install... it shouldn't be too hard?

Honestly cant say for sure, as I have not had much experience with any of the other coilovers out there. Also the use of the stock parts on the Teins does not apply to the SS-P model

I just had tein ssp installed by a shop here in Springfield,Mo at the end of the install they had "extra" parts which automatically worried me now I've got a vibration coming from the rear and I've got a feeling I need those parts they are gold disc looking things that go on the rear coilovers I've got two of them "extra" anyone know what they are for or what they do and this will fix my issue?

Do you have pictures of the "extra pieces"? There should not be any pieces left over. The install for the SSP's is really easy and straight forward, you pull out your entire old shocks and struts, and install the SSP's. You dont swap any of the factory pieces over to the SSP's. Hopefully they did not try and put your stock hats on the Tein SSP coilovers.....

Those pieces are not for the rears, those are from the fronts....not sure what they did, but from what you are saying and those pictures, I would say its not right

Yeah I got to looking at other DIY and thought they looked like they belong on the front I'm going to go get all the tools I need today and put those on the front were they go it appears that my coilovers are identical to yours just more adjustability and what tool should I use to tighten ecerything to the appropriate torque
