this is kinda off topic.... does the face plate for an automatic just pop off? I unscrewed the knob, popped off the little black piece and now I'm stuck- don't want to force it and break it....any suggestions?

I cant seem to disconnect the wires. Is there a clip I have to press or do they just pop out? I'm afraid to pull hard for fear of breaking something. I can't really see back there.

are you trying to pull the panels.easy enough.

remove the sail piece by the mirror......remove the door close handle cover piece.....in the door open area is a small hatch open it and unscrew the screw.behind the handle piece is one or two screws ....do not remember but it will be obvious.....then pull.once you are free you will see the wires for the door locks and windows.......they are in a harness just unclip.and you are free.

Hopefully this helps somebody out there. Once you get to the actual speaker your on your own.

Tools Needed:
1 Phillips Head Screwdriver
Flathead Scredriver
Your fingernail

Est Time:
10 Minutes at most

Step 1-- Start by prying off this door handle cover with your fingernail. Start at the top and work your way down. It does not take alot of force to get off.

Step 2-- Once you get the door handle off there are 2 Phillip screws holding the door handle in place.
One at the top

And one at the bottom.

Step 3 -- Move up to where the actual door lock is. With a flathead screwdriver pull the tab back. Once its pulled back unscrew with Phillips Screwdriver.

Step 4-- Thats all the screws now its time for the clips. Start at the far bottom of the front door. Just pull and work your way down. Theres probably about 15-20 clips. They pop out very easy and go back easy as well.

Step 5-- Disconnect the 2 power window/lock harnesses on backside of door.

What it looks like with the door panel off.
