i'd like to see a diy for cruise control and horn (else i may get some cheap horn and hook it to a button cuz as much as i hate the sound of our horn, i need it for a-holes that like to switch lanes without looking.

buuuumpp ha ..so what would i do with the 3ohm resistor for the airbag deal? and does that just shut the light off? cause i want the rest of the cars airbags to still deploy just incase..

 

I'm also interested in changing seats and steering wheels, but I also have no clue on the airbag light bypass...........anyone got a DIY on that?

 

To take the scare out of the air bag you just need to pull the ground cable securely away from the post. Then leave a door open the cabin light will discharge any capacitance in the system. As for the clips on the airbag connectors simply pry the little yellow inserts/stays in the middle of them and they will come right out. HTH

nope; rocking no cruise control...believe you needed one of the main wiring harnesses from the wheel that wouldnt have worked with the short hub

 

so if i take apart my stock hub an just use the wireing i can hook it up like normal you think it will work??

Well I installed my wheel yesterday and now my VSC and the traction control light are on. I knew the airbag light was on and i am still looking for 3 ohm resisters or something similar but does anyone know how to fix this?

 

odd that those came on. only thing that came on with mine was the airbag

How do i turn off the air bag light!?

 

I just covered mine with electrical tape. (Pulled the gauges out which is really easy, put tape under the gauge face piece so it wouldn't be seen.)
