Editorial: Scion Should Reincorporate with Toyota
 

Sometimes it’s hard for an automaker to split off part of its lineup to another branding. Look at SRT. Dodge broke off the group a few years back, and just this year, incorporated it back under the Dodge nameplate.

And now might be a good time for Toyota to do the same thing with Scion.

I couldn't see Scion being a performance division like SRT, SVT, or BMW M, but I think Scion's could do better by making them a little more sportier. 10 years ago it was important having iPod connectivity and panoramic sunroofs. Now young buyers want more enoof under the hood, give the tC a v6 from the camry, turbo the FR-S, awd XB, just a few ideas off the top of my head. Yes, that'll raise the price of them but having a bunch of new cars at $17k isn't helping the brand rep's of being cheap.
