Hey Toyota...
The sticky in this forum says that you guys read this forum, so I'd like to tell you something.
Give me a RWD Scion that is a modern-day AE86, for less than $19K, and I will buy it.
I know you guys are thinking about it. Do it, and you'll have a customer.

sigh, there are few people more in love with initial d than i. but the way cars have to be built nowadays, the car would be far heavier which would mean more power has to compensate, which doesn't really work because on the track adding power doesn't make up for added weight.
also, toyota doesn't have any low end rear wheel drive platforms do they? it would take years for them to develop a car like that by which time the initial d cult may have slowed down.
people hailed the lexus is as the return of the ae86 because it was a fairly light rwd toyota. they are great cars, i think that will be my next car after the tc.

I think I may have stumbled upon something...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Avanza
It appears to be a FR platform. Can someone look into this?
