Why is there no option for "it's horribly ugly" in the poll.
I am not neutral about it at all. It looks like complete sh*t.
I don't understand what is happening to the Scion formula. They were really onto something until the Toyota blandness crept back in with the tC, then the xB quadrupled in size and got styled like a retarded bar of soap. Now even the Scion concept cars look stupid. This is not good. I think they are losing their way.
Whoever is captain of the Scion ship needs to take a good look at what their initial vision was. What made the original xB sell so well? Look at that formula. Make the new xB a minivan with a Toyota logo on it which is what it wants to be anyway. xD is good, leave it alone, replace the yawn-inducing tC with the lightweight AFFORDABLE RWD sport coupe everyone everywhere has been begging you to build for the last 5 years and that this Hako concept and sink it to the bottom of the ocean to make an artificial reef and burn all blueprints for it and bring us the new JDM xB before its too late. UGH..

I know what concepts are, yet if they actually go in to production they're always a watered down version of the concept. Even with a watered down version of the Hako, it still would look like a mutant xB-2

Jeezus.
I understand what a concept car is. Doesn't change the fact that the lines on the Hako suck. It makes no sense and I cannot visualize a production car based on that concept that wouldn't look like the inbred offspring Brinks truck mated with a car from a ZZ Top video.
Its like they weren't even trying. Seriously.
Is there no sane middle ground between nonsensically retarded design with a 90 degree windshield and a bland Toyota Paseo remake with a Scion badge on it?
Somewhere in between there is room for truly unique and edgy design that doesn't look like a frumpy dull-___ Toyota product, yet avoids offending any person with any sense of design.
Lets try to build interesting and dramatically designed but practical and affordable cars that catch the eye, yet are smaller than a Sienna and don't look like a Paseo with a Volvo S40 grille. Can we do that?

I don't know about you guys but I originally bought a Scion because it stuck out like a sore thumb in a crowd. Of course there were other econocmical reasons but I liked the fact that my box got me attention....
Based on that...
I freakin love the Hako concept.... I am planning on rocking the $hit out of one as soon as they come out... If they come out...

Didn't they figure out that the xb gen 1 windshield was already too vertical (deflection angle) with all of the broken windshield complaints? Let's make even more broken windshields! That's progress! (i will be going on number 3 here shortly)

Living in AZ windshields are replaced all the time due to the heat.
A rock can it the window, but the sun brings on the crack. That
has happened with any make of auto. The Hako window wrap
feature is crazy and part of why we like it so.
