We don't actually delete accounts, it creates too many database problems.
Most folks simply leave and ignore the forum if they no longer have an interest in it, but what they have already said lives on.
Eventually folks will forget they were ever here.
If there are extreme circumstances, the screen name, email address, location, and DOB can be changed to fairly generic info, but if anyone ever called you by name or referred to you by your screen name, that still lives on.
We don't remove posts - to do so would trash discussions when one side suddenly goes missing.
If you have a definite need to pseudo-anonymize your info, let me know and I'll work with you on that, otherwise, what's said on the internet appears to live forever...
