not allowed to post?
 

i was wondering why i am allowed to post in some but not all forums? there are even ones i've commented in before or started and not allowed to.... ex: i can't post in the "off topic thread" any idea what is going on ????

not so sure why, but I know that some threads are restricted only to some users, I think its the OP thats creates that not sure gow though

oh ok. because it's just recently that i've noticed them. because i was trying to get to the "off topic" to post a game for sale and was denied posting at all there

you have to have over 50 posts to be able to post on the "off topic forum" hope that helps

the dudes got over 650+ posts already. i think that he past the 50 mark. or is it suppose to be a different 50.... (being a smart a)

i'd like to see the answer to this, i believe that some mods just do what they want, when they want. i've done it on other sites where i was a mod. :lalala:

hey scotspitch.. yeah.. something happened it looked like where you were removed from the SL member userlist. (dunno if you did that yourself?)

but only the admin can add you back to that userlist... i'd try contacting troy@scionlife.com he would be able to help.. hopefully he's not out of town or anything and resolve the problem quickly.

oh ok. ya cuz i even had posts in the off topic thread and what not that i couldnt even respond to... thanks for th ehelp.

There shouldn't be any reason other than the minimum post limits on a few forums. Try clearing your ScionLife cookies from your browser and see if that resolves it. If not, let me know.

yeah.. what happens.. or supposed to happen is that after 50 posts, you are automatically added to the 'SL Member' usergroup which i can see that you are no longer or was a part of...

since you said you have been able to post there before.. something must've happened... it's a fix admin needs to do.

ya cuz i had the 50 long time ago lol. and used to post on there. i emailed the one admin that someone told me to message, but no response back. but knowing as busy as this site is he's probably busy

haha just start commenting on peoples cars when they post pics. or answer people's questions if you know em. that's only way i've got all of mine here. other forums i belong to i havent been on a year yet and have like 1800 half of which are BS-ing back and forth
