Default Spaces on image file name

How come when you have an image that has a space on the name, it cannot be displayed on SL? It is very annoying because most of my files have spaces (automatically named by my program). Is there a way to fix that? For example if I name my file "My scion tc1.jpg" and load it to supload.com, the pic will show up on supload, but not when i put the link with the forum code for image, the pic wont show up. Anything you can do to fix this?

Hmmm... try replacing the spaces with %20

Instead of "www.scionlife.com/my photo.jpg"
Try: "www.scionlife.com/my%20photo.jpg"

The forum script was written that way and it IS annoying. I will mention it in the phpbb forums so they can fix it in the next release.

Thanks man! I believe this is one of the problems why noobs usually have problem posting an image. They did it right but they have a space on their file name and it will give them broken image instead. so they figured they did something wrong.

If I use supload, they have thumbnail image that has link embeded in the image. The %20 will screw up the script. Anyway, try loading an image with a space on it on supload and youll see what i meant.

I completely understand the problem, it is a function embedded in the phpbb forum software. I will post that info on the phpbb.com site and hope they fix it!
