I just wanted to let everyone know whom may be having this problem: I went to the dealer yesterday for my first free oil change. I asked them about the rattle in the sunroof and if toyota had released anything on it yet. The service manager said they had released a service bulliten on it, and im scheduled to have it fixed next monday. He wouldnt tell me exactly where the problem in the sunroof was, but said it would take a while to fix. So anyone who is having this problem should go back to the dealer and have them take care of it.

Just wanted to let you all know!! that pop is annoying.

 

Is there anyway you can get a copy of it and post it? It'd be really helpful. I know that if I go to my dealer they'll deny there's a TSB out for it because they're bastards like that.

 

When you go, please get the TSB #. I still doubt the TSB is officially out but the problem is well known by Scion as stated by the numerous posts in this forum.

I will see if i can get it next week, but they said they had notifications from toyota about the issue and how to resolve it.

scion is aware of the sunroof issue, most toyota service depts. are not...
and there is NO TSB out yet to service depts. for this problem yet

there are currently NO tsb's out for the tC

 

When I asked my Scion dealer well over a month ago about it, he said that they were well aware of the problem, that they were seeing it mostly in the first cars produced, and that they knew how to torque down the bolts to fix it - I think that your dealer is just telling you something like that. When the TSB comes out, I'm sure someone around here (maybe one of the dealers) will let us know pretty quickly. I wish Toyota would work a little faster on it.
