How is the iPod feature on the Panasonic? I'm leaning towards a Clarion, but any input would be great!

ipod is great! scrolls through lists nice and fast, and really no delay between song. I love that unit i just installed. Before i bought it, i was kinda unsure on the menus that it had, it kinda looked bland, but after installing it, im falling in love with it. The door also closes completly after some minor bracket modification.

yea its an ebay grill. The listing said its perfect OEM fitment, but ebay lies. I just had to notch a piece out with a dremel. Took only 5 mins to install after finding out i had to notch the bottom out a bit.

Does the Panasonic support the video form an iPod? I'm looking at a couple of head units and it's got to have video iPod capability and it's got to be compatible with the steering wheel controls.

Sorry for the off-topic stuff, but I saw an opportunity!

what is the point of blacking/whiting out/covering the license plate anyways..i've seen this done a million times, but the bottom line is that there is no point to it because millions of people see it everyday anyways, what are they going to do with it?

those two leds arent out, but they must be positioned wierd or something. That or they are a little dimmer. I have the dealer ordering me a new set.

Here are some night pics. firts pic is what you will see when the radio is selected, 2nd is the cd(pictured mp3 disc) and third the source select screen ( blurry i know)

Now all i need to do is muster up some money for the LEDS so i can change the color of my guages/HVAC

oh yea, and about the video ipod cable. There is a local car radio shop near me, and they can order you pretty much anything you want. They also do installs and stuff. The lady who works there said that they can order a regular ipod cable, OR the Video ipod cable. Mine came with the regular one, but since i have a video ipod, thats why i asked her. She said the video one is only 10 bucks more

very nice man ...that headunit isnt sirius or xm ready ? ...wouldnt it be easier to buy the satellite unit for the radio, instead of having the extra reciever ?

its sirius and xm ready, but the radio has only one port for extra stuff. Since i used that port for ipod, i need to buy a port extender, wich is like 100 bucks.

$100? That sux. When you get the video iPod cable in and have it up and running, I'd love a short hands-on review of it.
