- a/c uses power which comes from the engine.... the engine uses gasoline.

- that's up to your friend.... it's all preference.

 

yes, using the a/c uses more gas. as for matrix or box, that is all up in personal preference. do you want a corolla hatchback, or an echo hatchback with sharper edges than the xa?

The a/c is an accessory driven off of you engine and when it's engaged it puts an added stress on you motor which, uses more gas.

Technically the a/c itself dosent use gas but the engine uses a little more to turn it while on
