my bro is trying to get me two bass tubes. im not sure the specifics on them but do you think it will be loud? and how loud.
i want it realllll loud.

 

If u want real loud as in my ears won't stop ringing for 30min and I can be heard a mile away then pass up the tubes. The tubes, most likely bazooka, do an excellent job of adding bottom end to the system and are focused on onverall balanced n quality sound. The biggest tubes they make r I believe 10inch 200watt tube, self powered or passive, and they take up way to much space. I was goin to but a 10inch in my xa but sent it back since it was sooo damn big.

Check out ur weekly ads for the big electronic places as they run bass packages every now and then. U get the box, subs, n amp for a reasonable price n all u need is a wiring kit. A place my me called 6th Ave. Electronics had a special for duel 12" kicker subs in a ported box with amp for under $300(just an example of what u can find). Heck recently I heard a 10" Rockford Fosgate at the local Best Buy and I must say it hit pretty damn hard, way too much for me but still impressive none the less. So bigger isn't always better, just do ur homework and u'll find exactly what u need.

 

I have 2 8inch bozooka NOS tubes in my xb. I will agree that the do take up of room in the back actually they take up all the room. They sound pretty good inside and add a great low end bass, but like the other guy said you donot hear them out side for miles. I picked they up from a friend for $75.00 so i got a good deal. i dont think i would pay full price for them. To be honest they sound good but they are just to damn BIG.

 

i usually dont like tubes or audiobahn but this thing is bad azz

well if he wants loud he should dump the bass tubes, and do what i did put 2 12 inch audiobahn eternal series subs got them down to 1 ohm 1300 rms each in bandpass box then his car will be loud as hell and he will ____ed off people like me

 

i dont know i saw it a spl comp ontime and pulled it of the guys website he ws hittin around 140 with that thing

but want loud im about to put either4 15" Memphis MOJOS or 4 15" Power acoustik ****'s in my car it will be roughly an 8000 watt system
