Just bought my certified XA about two weeks ago. I just filled it up with my 4th tank of gas and have gotten 35, 35.5, 36.6 and 36 mpg. I am pleased to say the least. My pickup got 19 mpg no matter what I did. Does anyoone know how many XA's that were made each year for the US? I know that they didn't sell as well as Toyota would like so I would be interested in how many actually were imported. Also does someone have a scan of the 2005 XA sales brochure? Thanks, bryiank

 

I just got 204 miles per 5 gallons. Amazing how well they do when accelerate like granny and cruise at 80.

 

I am getting the same, I got mine a week ago.

I had a WRX and a Forest XT and bot got about 18mpg and I had to put 91+ for both

 

im very impressed i had 13mpg and now 35mpg this is just great...

 

i'm getting around 33mpg for city.
i haven't gone on any long trips to get hiway figures.

what i love the most: one tank regular vs one tank premium, less money and smaller tank

 

most i get for city is 37mpg avg. 34 city and 32 highway

 

With all the mods my '04 still averages 33.

 

my last 10-gallon tank on 89 octane gave me 355 miles.

 

I remember when I first got my xA... i got 41 mpg on the first tank, no lie! Ever since then it hasn't been as good, but I still average anywhere between 29mpg (in the cold winters of Wisconsin) to 35mpg (in the warm year-round climate of SoCal)
