In Miami traffic the other day I saw a ???brand full size SUV totally tattooed in advertising graphic like you see nowadays on city buses.

Every square inch of everything but wheels and windshield are part of big, pictoral graphics advertising a hip hop group!

Because of the subject matter it looked way cool! And it's definitely a commercial deal, created by some local advertising agency. I didn't quite catch the name, tho.

Now, if this is a trend coming on, where advertising agencies pay car owners for the privilege of converting your car into a rolling billboard, for a monthly or annual stipend to YOU, wouldn't that be COOL for Xb owners???

I mean, there ain't no other car going that is so perfectly suited for body graphics!

I can see the advertising payment put into your pocket might structure as follows (lol)

-For a graphic treatment featuring a medium cool music group, you get say 50 per month stipend.

For Kotex tampons you rake in 800 per month.

And if it's for Usher, you PAY THEM 100 bucks per month for the honor. ha ha.

Joking aside, anyone seen an Xb billboardmobile... yet? When you do it may be mine! But not if it looks like a tampon advertisement, uh NO!

moved to xB forum...

I can't remember the websites, but there are a few companies that will pay you 100-400 bucks a month to advertise their product on your car. All you do is have to fill out an application and hope they get back to you. They'll either give you a car to drive, or they'll vinyl up your car. The catch is that you have to drive a certain amount of miles a day. You have to go to a few events a month...and you have to pass out samples and brochures, etc.

My mom was going to advertise for Pepsi or Coca Cola on her Durango, but she gets new cars too often. There are a few students at UCF that drive advertisemobiles. Most of them are for a coffee shop called Java-something (apparently the advertisement isn't effective on me) that drive Beetles. There are also others for Sea World (Beetle with an Orca theme) and Red Bull (X90 with a big Red Bull can on the back)...
