Default Will a '05-'06 Intrument Gauge cluster fit in a '07?

will a '05-'06 Intrument Gauge cluster fit '07? I want to buy a used cluster and send it off to get the leds done, and have my stock ones as a back up. But i havent been able to find used 07 clusters. Does anyone know if they fit without a prob? Thanks in advance..

dunno yet, gotta see who offers what...i saw someone with the needle that changes color as it sweeps....i want that, and all white LEDS....having it as a seperate unit make it easier to send it out and have my car without gauges.

hahaha. nice. I just did the color changing needle. I got mine from Paul @ LEDMODS.net , he provided great work and has a one day turnaround, i just drove around with no gauges, just hoping I wouldn't run out of gas lol.

thurs drop them off at teh post office
ill get the friday and reinstall.

i thought the odometer info is in the ecu...cause whats to prevent you from swapping gauges and stating it has less mileage that it really does. I just want xtra set because if need to have warranty work or if i were to sell the car, i have the originals to place back in.

im 90% sure i read on the thread here that the odo info was only in the gauge cluster and you couldn't reflash it or anything, but if its in the ecu then hell. Paul can keep my stuff as long as he needs! im only in a hurry to get it back cuz i was under the impression that my mileage was gona be off...

your facts are probably more accurate than mine, i read it somewhere too, but im not as sure as you are. Thats a pretty stupid design then you can fake the mileage i guess...

JUST FOR EVERYONES INFORMATION: It is a fact that if you remove your cluster, your ODO will be off. Your ECU does not keep you milege. your ODO on the cluster board does. So if you buy a used cluster, ship it off to get a swap, the used milege cluster will show up if its not your original cluster. If you ship your cluster out and its gone for 2 weeks or so, those 2 weeks of milege WILL NOT BE RECORDED ON YOU ODO. So therefore your milege will be off and oil change will be to. Not a biggy but you need to remember this. This is why i did my own swap in a few hours. This is a retarded thing though becuase you can buy a used cluster with low milege, put it on you car and sell it claiming you have low mileage. My car has 18,000 miles on it and i have a few cluster laying around my house that i use for testing and they have about 4,000 miles on each of them....so yea, you ODO records the mileage, not you ECU so if you ship out, your mileage will be off.

No problem. I've tested this before and its true. ECU does not hold milege. Your clusters ODO does so it will be off if you ship out. If anyone has any other question ask them here or PM me.
