infinity kappa 63.7i fitment in tC?
Hello,
Ive tried searching to no avail...Will infinity kappa 63.7i's fit in a scion tC, they have 6.5" openings as do the fronts on the tC, but cruthchfield.com quoted as they do NOT work with the scion tC. I am going to use a Pioner DEH-3900MP deck and a random 60wx4 amp.
Thank You

I think Crutchfield doesn't understand the tC's requirements, so they can't give you the complete answer. I'm confident they'll fit, but you'll need to either purchase these or make a set yourself. This is the case for any speakers you're putting in the tC's doors, they're all going to need an adapter, as the hole in the door isn't designed to accept the speakers directly, as some cars do. This will be clear to you during the install process (or if you look at pics here in the 'how-to' threads where the panel is off and the speaker removed), as you'll see there are only 3 holes, which are used to pop-rivit the stock speakers (with integrated adapters, effectively) to the door metal.
the baffles for the front door are awesome. 6.5 will fit in the front, and you can fit 6.5 in the rear with some modifying. i have 5.25's back there now but im confident with a slight cut, maybe not even you will fit the 6.5's easy.
