they are most definatly not worth it....

get some off of Oznium and put them in yourself...you'll be more satisfied - brighter and much much cheaper

do you guys have them or your just bashing them? I'm just curious? I want to hear from both sides. I don't know much about wiring and installing stuff so that why I'm considering using the dealer led option.

I would love to see some pictures of dealer installed LED but I cant find any when using the search just custom jobs that look pretty darn good.

I had them....they were not bright at all, the cup holder lights looked more purple than anything.

then i met phil from oznium on here and he hooked me up with 2 cathode kits and some prewired leds.

definatly a difference- brighter, better blue from a fraction of the price. There is a DIY on this in the tech section i bet, and if not - lots of people here can walk you through install. Let me know if you have any questions or anything, its really easy

edit: i didn't know much either when i did it. Hell, i used the stock wiring with the new kits at first.

All you need is some wire, a switch if you want, tab splicers, pliers, and some zip ties and you're good

I agree with everyone here. DIY. Its much cheaper and looks better. Thats why i did mine myself also. Wiring, soldering, and electrical stuff isnt that hard.

that dudes stuff looks good but I don't own a single tool. But I took everyones word and didn't have the dealer install the leds. Thx for all the responses. I really need to learn how to install stuff on my car its gonna save me some serious $$$ in the long run. My dealer keeps sticking it in me every time i buy stuff.

Yea...i agree...you should definitley learn how to do the work yourself. Electrical work like basic LEDs is not that hard. Your just need to find a good clean mounting spot and mount them in some neat fashion, then run the LEDs to preferably a switch so you control when they come on so theyre not on 24/7. Get a switch, run a positive wire from the LED to the swithc and a ground from the LED to bare metal on you car. Then do the same with the switch. ground it also. Then finally run power to the switch also. This obviously supplies power to the LEDs when the switch is turned on. Or you can do it the more cool but semi harder way and splice into your map lights so they turn on when your doors open at night or in the morning and also wire it to a switch so you have power over the LEDs when the door is closed. Not that hard really. The nagain, electrical work has always been in my blood. PM with questions or post here. later.

What do you mean by 3? Most switches have 3 prongs on the back of them. One for the incoming power source, one for the outbound power to you object(LEDS, Neon lights, etc) and one for a ground. let me know if this helps or try my quick DIY i did.
