Default 2007 tc sunroof windnoise= NORMAL?!?!?

yesterday I went for my first oil change and I asked the dealership Germain-Naples Fl to check my sunroof because of the windnoise, comming even at 35 m/h. At first they didn't hear it on the test drive, but when I insisted on being in the car with the service guy, he heard it and after test driving another tc from the lot, hearing the same nose and some consulting I was told that this is normal and there is nothing they can do...at least i have in writing...called scion customer service and they promise to contact the dealer and probably send me to another one...

its not the sun roof. in the search box type in wind noise. Its actually a rubber seal thats in the engine bay "on the clips where the front bumper is attached"

I just noticed the same problem in my 06 a few weeks ago. I've had my car for over a year but i've never noticed it until then. It's definitely worse if I have the vent open as opposed to recirculating. It's also rattling a lot more than usual. i'm going to try cleaning out the tracks and around the seal to see if that helps it close better.

I had the same problem. On the freeway it would whistle really loud and when I would go to close it, it would automatically go back after the first stop.

When my header was installed, my battery was disconnected, so I had to reset my sunroof. Now it doesn't whistle and it now closes all the way after the first stop.

I have no Idea how resetting the computer fixed it, but its worth a try
