Default Just two quick questions about painting the interior

1) I bought plastics spray paint at my local harware store, will clearcoat melt or react or anything with this?

2) How do I remove the pillars that run from the dash to the ceiling of the car in front by the windshield?

1) if it is the Krylon Fusion no clear really needed , but I would suggest many light coats, degrease with a wash in dish soap. I have seen people use alcohol or acetone and the paint bubbles.

2) remove your front speaker grills . carefully pry at the top and it will pop off, there are three or four plastic clips holding them on. the bottom of the pillar slides back , there are little "hooks" holding them onto the dash.

well first you scuff it,and inbetween primer and base put sealer to . turns out freakin sweet that way! a lil more money/time but well worth it.

Im doing the same thing, another question.... The C & D pillars, can I remove them without removing the bottom plastic piece that houses the components or do I have to remove it?

nope, you'll have to remove the lower plastics to get the uppers off, theres usually screws holding the bottom of the upper pillar covers in place
