well that's only cause he is stuck riding in his razor scooter from losing his license in a DWI/DUI Incident.

I never listen to salesmen/saleswomen...they get paid to talk you into buying ____. research it and ask questions based on your research. It will get you a lot further, and hopefully closer to your answer.

A quick search could probably get you some results and did you ever learn how to ask a question without sounding like a dick?

7.2 seconds? yikes.. doesnt really justify the 3500$! but then again, why bother making teh scion "fast" anyways, its FWD!

More than half of the time I've spent with auto-salespeople, I've ended up educating them on the car they're trying to sell me!

It's too bad I hate doing sales, otherwise I think I'd be a pretty good auto-salesman (I'm one year short of a BD in Communications).

That number is underrated. My stock N/A did 7.4 out of the box. The SC tC will pull about a 6.0 flat. It is damn near identical to an Ion redline in HP, weight and 0-60. And Saturn claims 6.0, which is just about exactly right. I have experience driving them and i know from first hand experience.

Oh and to snarcher... Why wouldn't you want a fast FWD car? Seriously, i know people have this thing about sports cars needing to be RWD but i don't truely understand it. There is less oversteer, less power loss though the drive train and with proper motor mounts and/or torque damping, there is no wheel hop. All in all, I think FWD handles a lot better.

One day last summer. I raced a 93'ish 300 ZX from a stop turning left at a light. I pulled the whole way outta the turn nice and smoothly with just a little tire squeal, he on the other hand fishtailed 4 times almost wrecking his car, it looked like it was gonna tip over, thats how bad the oversteer was. I literally had him by an 1/8th of a mile because he kept sliding all over the road and couldn't get traction

IMO the Tc was designed to be a peppy car with some good lines. not an all out street racer, mind you there are exceptions to every rule.

HAHA not flaming, but who buys a civic to be fast.... But that doesn't mean you won't ever see a Civic beating a Ferrari. I get the most joy out of beating big V8 trucks and other V6 cars with my "slow" 4 banger tC!

I personally would rather drive a geo metro with 300 HP than an STI. Not for style, but for the element of surprise!

I'm the exact same way, and I've honestly thought about doing that with the Metro, too.

It's all about the image you want to have when building a fast car, for me. And nothing looks more humiliating than a econo-car (Plymouth Relient, anyone?) beating you senseless.

I knew a kid when I was in High School that put a mitsu 2.2 turbo in his dodge k car, ha ha that thing was funny he even put a big wing on it.

I would say low 6's for 0-60, depends who is driving and what tires, I feel like my car was faster launching when I had a stiffy etd even though it was only n/a at the time.
