Default xB accessories at dealership for cheaper?

With the xB no longer at dealers, anyone know if the accessories at dealership for the xB are now cheaper? Anyone call a dealership to find out?

I would doubt it... although that might vary on a dealer to dealer basis.

I got a front end hood protector (vinyl bra) from a local dealer for $50. He said it was $10 off.

You might find some deals on stuff they can't move. It might get harder to find stuff for the xB tho.

EBAY is the best place for factory stuff. I bought my xB SCION floor mats all 4 for 45 bucks on ebay brand new.

why bother, i mean seriously, i have a friend who works at a toyota dealership with a tc, he says the prices at sites like trdsparks is only slightly more than his employee discount gets him for genuine toyota/scion/trd parts.

but just because the xa and xb aren't made any more means that their accessories are going to be cheaper. there will always be people who buy used scions who will buy them, or when they wear out, people will replace them.

the scion accessories are a huge revenue for scion, for both current and previous production models.

my understanding is the "accessories" will drop prices, like the trd stuff for the xa/xb, but it'll be slow probably take a year or so

Good one Bro! I felt the same way when I found out they started giving those $50 gifts out shortly AFTER I bought my xB. I wasn't all to happy.

Also when I asked if I could have all the oil and filters I was due from the 3 "free" oil changes. Would you believe they said NO? They are still mine whether or not I choose to let them do the labor. Right?

The three oil changes are designed to get you in so they can recommend the other services you need. $$$$ for them

had my free ones done at 500, 3,000 and 6,000 miles then switched to synthetic. gettin a credit for my own oil at the 5k service intervals is like pullin teeth. they scream and holler. i also change oil in between the 5k's that they do. can't be too clean, ya know! only got 26k on this car in under 22 months...am aiming for 300k (if the trannie holds out)!!?
