i just want to push 1 sub in my TC. and i know nothing about systems and just want some bass. im hearing the older rockford fosgates used to be underrated and are really good and the new ones suck. i cant find too many of them on ebay so what other brands are also good for the money.
im really cheap so im looking to spend prob 100ish on the amp. a couple dudes showed me rockford 201s and 301s on ebay. any other recommendations? thanks

 

look for the fosgate punch 25th anniversary edition on millionbuy.com the prices are ridiculous. they are very good amps for the price. if you want a good, reliable and affordable amp, lower alpine amps are your best bet.

 

i dont see the 25th anniversary one you are speaking of. are you talking about limited edition?

i know ed has some good ones... but i'm not sure of their prices.. i have an old bazooka amp... it's a 2 channel brideged for 150 rms at 4 ohms... it works great.. i use to run an older 10 in jl audio on it and it worked great... i'll sell it to you for 25 dollars plus shipping..

 

I'd go for the MA Audio M1889i on Sonicelectronix.com. $99 brand new> I'm using one for my 10" Type-R and I'm satisfied. It says 800W RMS, but afaik it's actually 800W Max (listed it on the box i think). It likely pushes ~500-600W RMS at 2 ohms.

i'm kind a ice noob as well. how would a jl 250/1 fare with ed sq10?

 

itll run really good with it since they are both near the same RMS. its a great pair.
