Default My hand drawn Spaceship/Hearse Car Wrap finally FINISHED! :)

X-Posted in the General Section and the Exterior Section. Sorry, I'm just so excited to show it off

After going through hell trying to replace my bumper and having the body shop paint my door and bumper a different color from the rest of the entire car I finally forked over the cash to install a car wrap to advertise for my clothing company.

I actually hand drew this design earlier this year but pieces of my box started falling off so I decided to wait.

The drawing was influenced by H.R. Giger, tattoos, and a human anatomy book. It probably took me two days to draw it out and vector it.

Here's my baby:

Whew! If you live around Orange County CA I highly recommend Loud Ocean Signs. It's a small shop but the service is excellent.

http://www.LoudOcean.com

I talked to a lot of other Vehicle Wrap places and they all quoted me $200-$400 more for the job than Loud Ocean and told me that it would take about 10 days.

I found Loud Ocean through google and I brought my car in on Thursday and got it back Saturday afternoon! Seriously, great place and super nice people.

I'm going to be designing a hood piece when I get more money to finish up the car.

Hope you guys enjoyed taking a look!

Wow! Great job -- I remember the thread with your mockups I peeked at a while back. I am glad you went through and did it. I dig it! It's kind of H.R. Giger meets Jhonen Vasquez. Looking forward to see what you do on the hood.

Thanks a lot! Box still has a ways to go. Maybe if I skip a meal every day I can drop it next month, lol.

I was going to get those Helo glide rims at first but I think these match the art better in the end.

Do airbags reduce the ride quality a lot? It's my daily driver and I don't want back pain and neck tramua, lol.

Thanks a lot!

I had to google Jhonen Vasquez and I remebered my friend has stacks of his comic books. I'll have to steal them for a bit when he's at work.

Thank you!

I actually almost got in 3 accidents today because people were looking at my car. I have to be a lot more careful now that people are trying to figure out what my design is instead of concentrating on driving, lol.

Thanks!

I haven't been in an xB on air but I would assume they are a bit softer than lowering springs. The easy street struts do have adjustable dampening though so I am sure you can get them close to stock and then you just need to get some adjustable shocks for the rear.
