This is an odd first post, but I need some help I've been lurking for a while and searched for a bit, but point of the matter, I'm at work and don't have time to search extensively.


I looked at the Sizzling Crimson 08 last night and the color was amazing. Nice deep red. However after placing a hold on one to be delivered in manual(all they had was auto) (Also I'm coming back to sign the papers tonight) I realized this morning I've only seen this car in the fading light/evening/shadows.

Now I was planning on going back early today to check them out in the daylight.. only low and behold... heavy overcast and rain.


So I need photos if you got them or at least an opinion of the color in daylight.

I don't want a purple car, and that's what I'm afraid bright light will turn this color into. My cause for concern is the photo on scion.com, though somehow I think that's.... extra special lighting.

I am really interested in seeing this car in the daylight. Too bad dealers are too lazy to post actual pictures of their cars on their websites. Like everyone can decide from a stock photo.

 

I have seen this color and it is amazing in the daylight! I drooled when i saw it.

 

they have it on their website, but its still a shoddy picture. Its a darker bcp.

I don't mean anything by this and I apologize if it offends even remotely, but was the color attractive because you're a woman or was that just a neutral opinion?

I'll snap some evening photos tonight when I go back to sign the papers.

Maybe I'm the guinea pig lined up to be the first with one of the 08's in this color? :D

 

there isn't really guinea pigs in scion tcs right now, since it's not the first year they are produced.

 

Get the dealer to move it into some light if possible. Hell your buying a car, they should clean your shoes too.

The sun is poking out between the clouds too. So maybe there's some hope yet with the weather as well.

 

Good. Now fake a stomach bug once the sun's completely out and get some pictures for us. :D
