What do you think could be the problem if my car can't rev past 2500rpm I just recently had a vacuum leak on my coupler from the TB to
the Intake and that fixed my idle but now i can't rev it past 2500rpm it bogs out like completely stops but doesn't cut off.

I need your guys help please.

Might be ur ecu. is there a CEL?

 

i hope ur not using gas and brake...lol...do you have any aftermarket engine parts in ur car

 

lol no.... i have a megan racing headers, s-pipe, mid-pipe, and axel back...

 

reset the ECU. take off batterty teminals for about 1 minute, put them back on. start the car. come back and tell us what happens

i just reset it and it didnt do anything this is whats happening... i was able to rev to 4500-5k but not redline... when i go to give it gas it cuts out like a fuel shortage.... but could it be from when i sprayed wd-40 on the o2 sensor... i dont think it would matter but idk? and i also washed my engine bay but made sure i didnt get water on there....but i noticed a lil water on the header... in the middle between the 2 pipes but im pretty sure that evaporated..

 

You could have ruined your Main O2 sensor. Go to the dealer to have it checked. that, or its the MAF sensor connected to your airbox.

MAF is fine I unplugged it and it did its job to cut off the engine so it's cool. I think I did ruin the Main O2 Sensor.

I work at Clearwater Toyota so i'll just debo one off a tC sometime.
