Default Defective Sheet Metal?

I just bought my tc from Vancouver Scion in August. Has anyone had problems with sheet metal? My tc has a series of dents above the driver side and passenger side doors. I have no idea where these could have came from.... they are spaced fairly evenly and they near the roof, to high for any doors to bang into.

Did you happen to buy the silver streak mica tC I saw on the lot? I checked it out back in August and Andy Needham, the dealer I'm working with on my purchase, showed me the car and said it was already sold and that the new owner didn't want anyone touching it. He offered to let me sit in it for a few, but I declined, with respect to the owner's wishes. I certainly wouldn't want anyone touching my car if I just bought it.

Ahem, got a little off-track there. I have heard a little about defective sheet metal, where the paint was peeling, but I read about it on another forum a few weeks back and it was only one instance. Can't help you out, though.

I have one on the driver's side. Baffles me as to how it got there since it's so high. But it's clearly an impact dent since there is evidence of paint scrape.
