Those with aftermarket wheels, NE1 use hubcentric rings due to wheel vibrations?

It doesn't imply low quality wheels - just that the wheel you have was probably designed for different fitments.

Usually there are multiple bolt patterns that the wheel can fit; therefore, the hub (centerbore) size can also vary. By using hubcentric rings, more combinations can be accomodated by the same rim.

They should be used to avoid the wheels studs from having to support the weight of the car and prevent the wheels from shifting from center.

an FYI example:

volk wheels typically have a standard centerbore... then you are provided volk hubcentric rings that work on your car with the wheels.

most people wouldn't consider volk wheels to be low quality..

but yeah if your wheel isn't hubcentric you should think about getting some hub rings.. they're only like 12 bucks shipped on ebay.

I agree, the use of hub centric rings is not an indication of low quality wheels. The rings allow the manufacturers to fit the wheel to more vehicle's which allow them to produce the wheel in higher quantities which translates into lower prices for everyone!
