After i lowered my car with the Tanabe df210 springs its making a clicking noise in the front wheel wells... what could be the problem? is something loose? Can it be that i didnt tighting the strut well enough?

Seems to be an issue with xB's that have been lowered 2 inches. Others seem to be experiencing the same thing.

i havent seen this on any of the 14 scions that I have lowered. Are you sure that the top spring hat and strut boot are positioned correctly? The top hat is labeled "out", and the boot has a little tab that must be alligned with the hat.

is it like a little "pink" noise usually when you first get in and start driving?

i have a similar noise, but it only happens right when the car first starts rolling after sitting for a while ( a few hours or overnight) , but not every time i get the car rolling (like from a stop sign).

if i get my new wheels for christmas ;) i'm taking the struts out to finally put the new bump stops in, so i'll have a look and see what it might be.

i FIGURED IT OUT!! after tighting the top hat down on to the spring and setting the car back on it it tends to loosen up.. so you gotta tightn them while there on car... quick fix 5 min. anyone have a problem putting in the driver side strut? mine was a PAIN IN THE ___!! let me know

when you tightened it the first time out of the car, did you use hand tools? Maybe thats why it wasnt down all the way. I use an impact gun.

yup, hand tools all the way - but i swear i torqued that thing like a mo-fo, and after it went back in the car too!

oh well, i'm taking my struts off as soon as i get my wheels to repalce (finally) the bump stops, so i guess i'll try harder then ;)
