Default putting together a turbo kit!!!

I just came across a used turbo from a close friend of mine a couple of minutes ago at work. My boy has a turbonetics t3\t4, .63 trim turbo for $100 bux. Housing is polished too. Catch is that It needs to be rebuilt. Also my best friend has a spearco intercooler and a turbonetics raptor blowoff for 150 bux!!!

Now my questions, how much does it cost to rebuild this turbo? Does anyone have any experience with the Raptor blow-off valve? Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

I will be posting pics of the parts by the end of this week.

you should call turbonetics, go to their website. Ask how much it costs to rebuild turbos... i'm guessing around 200 ish?? Also since u have the raptor bov and spearco intercooler, you should buy the rest of their kit. Tell them you situation and see if u can get some kind of deal from them.

My boy said it has an oil leak. He also said that he has the original box and spec sheet from the turbo. I'm going to take a look at it tommorow latest friday. Is there anything i should look for on the turbo or is it something that can only be checked when the turbo is taken apart. Either way I don't think my boy will play me like that and for 100 bux i think i'm gonna jump on it. I"ll take pictures of it and post it. As for the intercooler and bov, Ill have some pictures and dimensions of em later tonight.

Standerd bushing turbos are much cheaper to rebuild then those will ball bearings. You need to find out which one yours has.

If you want a louder BOV you probably dont want the raptor. It was made for higher boost and isnt loud at all when used with low boost. My friend has one on 10 lbs of boost and its not that loud.

Just got the turbo! This number was on the turbo... T3/T4B SS-S1 STD0_63. It also sez this turbo was from a Drag Competition Product. Where can I find the specs from this turbo. I believe this turbo is from a drag turbo kit. Ill post pics when I get off werk!

Okay I found out some info on this turbo. I looked up the part number on the turbine housing in the turbonetics site. Under the the # 20358-1, it states that it is a .63 a/r standard housing. I was looking at the new rev hard manifold and it said it was only made for on center housing. Are all the manifold that are avaliable for the t3 like this? Please help.
