ED underseat? Is it worth getting?
I have been looking at options for my box, and am pretty close to picking this up. I want to be able to use any "Non-affecting" space that I can for a sub. I saw the scohse, but am a little weary because of the placement. I think that I would like to have the bass more up front, than in the back. I have a JBL 300.1 Powervalve (4 yrs old) that plays strong 150 WRMS @ 4 ohms and 300 WRMS @ 2 ohm. I guess another question is, is the sub in the box any good? Would I be better off putting a kicker comp vr in? Just wanted some unbiased opinions on it. I had a nice system in my car(s) for the past 9 yrs, and just wanted to keep the trend going... BTW I have some used infinty 6012I 5012I and 4012I that I bought used off ebay for $70 (whole lot). They will be powered by a profile 400sx, which should handle them just fine ( I know there are plenty of profile haters out there...
) Anyway, just wanted some opinions... thanks!
The eD subs is good in its box, nothing else can go in the box because of the mounting space. Which is less than 3" deep. You def aint fitting no kicker in there or Alpine or anything else unless its a slim mount sub.
Gotcha guys.. Thanks for the replies... I will save up a few more bones, and check into it... I keep going back to that one... I don't want a sub box, where the sub sticks up in the rear, and I am not much of a box builder... Just never really tried... all my other ideas seem to add up to about $100-110, so I might as well spend the extra $20 and get something that is already done, you know? So my 300 Rms will be enough for it? That too, is another plus... getting a 2 ohm verison of the sub. Thanks for your replies and opinions...
