Ok.. the little plastic interior panels in my box are getting scuffed bad. Especially the ones with the raised pattern, those seem to scuff if you rub a feather against them.

I load and unload a lot of random crap so it's going to keep happening. That's why I got the box, so I'd have room for stuff. Any thoughts on how to make the plastic a little tougher so it will look good longer? Spray on cargo liner? Cover it in leather? Something else? I'm not afraid to pull all of the interior panels off to work on them. It's a good excuse to install some dynamat anyway :)

If you dont care about looks to much, why not just pull the pannels out & leave them out? That will keep them safe & stock if you want to sale the xB some time down the road.

I do care about the looks, that's why I'm trying to keep the panels from getting scuffed to hell. I've never seen plastic get marred so easily! Did they just paint the plastic instead of putting a dye before it was formed or something?

Its a cheap car so cheap stuff like that. Im not sure if it is just a paint or not. Take the pannel off & look at the back side, if it is painted I would think they would only paint one side. So you want to keep the pannels then, I would say look into maybe like a DIY bed liner stuff. Maybe even just like a cheap cargo mat of some kind.

do the spray on cargo liner stuff look at this way at least it'll be one of a kind :D

Talked to Rhino Lining today. No chance to rubberize the side panels. Release agent in them makes it tough, plus plastic is almost impossible anyway.
