Ah well I recently just had my headers delivered so I will be getting those installed and then since HALO REACH just came out we are doing a big gaming night up here.

Just got back from driving the 2011 Scion tC...I don't know. It's not the same as my previous Flint Mica Princess. They only had automatics to drive and I could only drive in NE Portland (no freeway). The test drive guy was nice, but didn't know poo about the Scion hierarchy. Another Scion rep kept calling my xB an "xD". He eventually corrected himself and apologized. We're lucky to have super nice Scion reps in our area.

It felt kinda OK to drive. The roof feels a lot lower, steering wheel feels great, and the gauge layout is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I'm going to pass on this tC model. Excited for the iQ to come out and drive that next. I know it's even smaller

However, I did get 2 iTunes gift cards @ $10 each....So in the end, I win!

Install on springs depends where you go, I've got a friend with a spring compressor which does all the work for us and you'd get to pick and choose and see a bunch of stuff I've done to my car and get to see the raceland coilovers in person and such too. It's the same amount of work for either think basically and if you wanna just meet up to get some ideas lemme know and I'll PM ya my number.

I go to BC also, although for my networking degree through the deal with EWU.

We've had a few AP cars come through our scene all owned by guys, all done up well, no hate from me, I really like the color personally, I'd say your friend is a homophobe haha. Also your car is currently an OEM color, it'll carry more value that way if you intend to turn it around in a few more years like you said.

I've got a big thread in the tC owners lounge with a ton of pictures of my car, although not a lot as I modded it along the way, sometime I'll put up a real progression set as things changed.

Some people mod their tC's till they cannot mod it anymore, and the value of the car ends up going on to the average seller (probably mid 20's, not looking to draw that much attention). I like light modifications and to let the natural look of the car shine, its a beautiful car, I like the design how the entire top is glass.

Fast question though, is the second sunroof (above the back seats) supposed to slide back? Mine dont, but its not really that big of a deal. Could it possibly be a blown fuse or something?

The second piece of glass is fixed, doesn't go back.

Is what it looks like open, the front piece is a wind deflector that raises up, then is the piece that goes back over the third and final fixed piece.

Np, just showing you a picture of a properly functioning moonroof because I didn't know which piece you meant specifically wasn't moving (although you said above the rear seats so I pretty much knew) and you could see and compare with your own to know it's working properly, etc..

So I sort of had a random and quick question. On Thursday, I got a BS speeding ticket + HOV violation (trying to drive home and every1 is driving slow, I take the express exit for the first time stressed from school and I am going 70+ and I get pulled over). Its like a $235 ticket, and attorney costs are $300, so if they can dismiss it its all good.

I searched around the forum and couldnt find anything, but I was wondering what radar detectors you guys use. Someone told me they are still legal is WA.

^ sorry dude, I did get tickets as well, and also got radar detector. Saw u are 17, and I understand its hard to follow the speed limit lol, but nothing can beat the cops radar gun. U gotta be careful when u decided to speed. Its all about experience. Anyways, don't speed is my advice :) IMO, attorney's cost > insurance cost raise, but if the attorney can fight the ticket, then its worth to give it a shot. Usually, u should be able to fight the first ticket. Good luck!

I would at least call and ask an atorney, they should be able to tell you pretty quickly if they can fight it or not. Gotta tell ya though shounds like you might be better off mititgating it down...

The attorney said that the ticket should be able to be dismissed, especially that the court is in Shoreline. They said the two judges there are both very nice and very reasonable. My dad has had an attourney clean up a few tickets for him, and he is charging me $300 for it. He says he has never not gotten a ticket dismissed at the Shoreline court, so. He says the speeding part will be the easy part, but getting the HOV will be hard because there is no denying it. But he said that maybe they will just clean both. But as I stated, he says theres a good chance of getting it cleared off.

I have learned my lesson, dont drive when you are stressed. Today I was driving a little fast because I took something for a workout (has caffeine and other stuff in there to help your workout) and I was taking backroads and I was a little excited but I hit the gas a little but saw a cop to my right. He turned behind me and I think ran my plates. He seemed chill and it wouldve been a dick move to pull me over for doing nothing. But nothing happened thankfully (he turned right, I turned left). I gotta be more careful though..

Do it as in get the xb? :) Its very tempting I'm waiting till I finish my degree so I can get the extra 1k off and I've got a few pretty big life changing decisions make here soon (stay in washington and buy a house or leave here and move to arkansas and be unmployed for who knows how long) so I might stick with the tc a little longer.

I was really into the scion scene in CA in 06-08. When I moved back to WA the poor roads and bad weather ate up my widebody and there wasnt a huge following up here. I've been re-doing my car since last June.

Im glad to see more and more people got involved and I definately want to be a part of it all.

I used to work in the Boeing Everett factory but just recently transferred so I'm not in the area too much anymore, My gf works there though and has my car sometimes :P Plus we both work the night shift so we dont get spotted much :cry:

From the rumors its supposed to cost around low to mid 20k but we should find out in a few months when it debuts. I've always wanted a G35, still looking but they are still pricey for me...but it is a luxury car lol.
