I'm not too happy with the decision to use larger displacement engines in these xD/B cars, the 1.5 liters were more than enough and the gears were great for passing speeds on highway and whatnot. Fortunately, a good friend of mine has an xA, so I'm able to enjoy driving his often. :) To me, it just seems like Toyota/Scion was falling in line with the whole 'bigger = better' idea (atleast when it comes to the engines). I hope the xB drops back down to atleast 1.8 some day. :( Amoxaphobic 07-20-2007, 09:49 PM I can see where you are coming from Garma, but I kind of like te idea of the xB having more umph... Big_Bird 07-20-2007, 09:50 PM I like the idea of the corolla engine, wish they had done that from the beginning. but the camry motor in the xB2, me no likey. zoltiz 07-20-2007, 10:07 PM I'm a fan of 1.8L in a 2600lbs 4-door hatch. Matrix was getting a little heavy for it. The review is pretty inspirational. 3 weeks to go... |
