From what I've been reading, I'm gonna really miss the xA now that this has replaced it. I'm not too happy with the decision to use larger displacement engines in these xD/B cars, the 1.5 liters were more than enough and the gears were great for passing speeds on highway and whatnot. Fortunately, a good friend of mine has an xA, so I'm able to enjoy driving his often.

To me, it just seems like Toyota/Scion was falling in line with the whole 'bigger = better' idea (atleast when it comes to the engines). I hope the xB drops back down to atleast 1.8 some day.

I'm a fan of 1.8L in a 2600lbs 4-door hatch. Matrix was getting a little heavy for it.

The review is pretty inspirational. 3 weeks to go...
