How come the one replied to got locked and not this one!
They should both be locked because everyone knows that boosting will actually increase your 0-60 due to more engine weight and less traction. But your 0-100 goes down to 3 seconds, cause once your boosted, you start talking in 100s, not 60s.

It costs the price of a click on the search button.
Even less if you know how to scroll down the first page of the FI forums:

I love how people come on here asking retarded questions like this or "what is the best bov for my future turbo build cause I want to loudest sound" or how much does it cost? But in the end these people barely even have a intake. This girl is 17 and doesn't know dick when it comes to FI. And probably only wants it to be "fast" and cool like the movies and maybe even make a few friends.

Odds are this car will NEVER be turbo'd ever. Do us all a favor and read. Read this forum, read other articles about forced induction before you make another stupid ___ thread asking retarded ___ questions.

Im sensing a lock soon...

you dont ever want to INCREASE your 0-60, you want to DECREASE it, so that it takes LESS time to go from 0 to 60.

it depends what size turbo or supercharger you decide to go with, how much boost you want to run, and what supporting modifications you get along with the supercharger/turbocharger.

Do you know what you want to get yet?

There are a lot of variables when it comes to 0-60 times. driving skill, tire grip, turbo size, how much boost, so on and so forth. so it really hard to say with a definite response as to how much your 0-60 times will decrease with a turbo setup. you can ask owners to post up their time slips and their setup. that should give you an idea on what to expect.

This is EXACTLY why you should no even be considering a turbo for your car.
What were your other choices for mods? Maybe you should just start with an exhaust, or some springs? And I'm assuming it's an 07 or 08? There are only a few turbo kits available for the 07, and I'm not sure if any of them work on the 08. Don't see why not, but I dont' know if any have been tested.

no car knowledge + seemingly ample funds + desire for "boosting it" = TRD supercharger installed at a dealership.

....and I'm neither stupid nor lying when I say I'm happy I paid for my car myself. That's why I went to college and worked hard and got a decent job. It's nice being financially independent, and I like never having to ask my parents for money. It means they did a good job preparing me for the "real world". I hope a few years from now you can say the same thing, but judging by where you're at now...
