Hey guys,
My main problem in buying an xB is the insurance. I'm a 20 year old male in Florida. This will be my first car. I don't have any prior insurance and I don't want to call Geico (what my parents have) and ask. I remember when I was 13, my 15 year old sister (now 22) called Geico asking about quotes. They were like "Whoa, you got your license, well ____! (not really) Here, let's add you to your parents insurance!" My mom was ____ed. That's one thing I don't want to do.

So if you guys can post your insurance rates (either monthly or 6-month), that'd be great. I'd like to compare and contrast what people pay... Oh yeah, state whether you are the main driver, 3% driver, co-signed, etc whatever..no clue what I'm talking about...

Thanks!

State Farm Insurance Nevada.

Main driver

88 dollars a month currently for full insurance. 1000 comp /500 coll and uninsured motorist.

I don't know the rest of plan but i do have a high deductible = lower rates.

Oh this is also with the good student discount 15% off the insurance rates if you have B average or better in school.

I am 21 I did a quote on geico with no driver training go my licence when I was 16 and it was 1200 for 6 months with full coverage, so I have GMAC and it will be about 1200 for a year full coverage.

I (age 22/23) ofcourse have high deductible ($500), bought Life Insurance through them as well, no tickets or points or recordable accidents (obtained certified driving record from DMV).

TJ, abbfunac...how old are you two?

Dean, what is GMAC?

Also, State Farm seems to know what a Scion xB is. Geico, on the other hand, doesn't know what it is yet..
