Couple nights ago, my scion xb, check my profile and you can see it, was broken into from the back driver window and the piece of s*** that broke into ripped my center console out and destroyed my pioneer dvd screen with nav, he was a dumb mother f***** too because i had my $250 radar detector there and he must have been a weak ___ _____ cause he couldn't even lift my sub box, luckily i had a viper alarm and it scared him before i could get out there to knock his ___ out, then this morning at 5 am my buddies black gsr got stolen from 20 feet in front of my apartment, these mother ____ers need to get a life, and quit stealing from the hard working people that actually work for their cars and what they deserve, i know I am not alone on this matter.....

I know the feeling, few months ago my RS3 got broken into, but luckily for me nothing got stolen, they just smashed the driver side window in, and I guess the RS3 alarm scared them away... You've gotta be really low to pull something like this, i mean REALLY low...

Nope, it's amazing how stupid they are. My old buick, somebody broke in, ignored my radar detector (it was close to $200) and ignored my MP3 player, but took my cheapo starter cell phone. Had the phone deactivated within 20 minutes, and I was already due for a free phone upgrade. Even worse, Verizon said the dumb ___ answered the phone when they called.

I hope you have insurance for this. I keep full coverage even after a vehicle is paid for that reason. So you can relax and be assured that insurance will cover a really half assed repair job on it.

Some of these people make you wonder how much inbreeding is going on in this country.

Something that I found that helps alot in these situations. Just think to yourself, at least you aren't that dumbass. Just think of how crappy that person's life is, probably driving a Yugo and eats ramen noodles and pork & beans everyday. He probably steals to cover his crystal meth habit which he is constantly twitching for. Sleeping on a filthy, used hotel matress at home. Roaches are partying in his kitchen, seasoning his leftovers. He has only basic cable that he watches on a small tube with badly distorted colors. The guy probably holds a revolver to his head everytime he crashes from meth.

 

suck's, a gsr getting stolen is nothing new though, my buddy had one 2 teg's stolen, and a hatch with a swap as well right outta a hotel valet parking lot! thats why i don't roll a honda!

 

ya here is an update he got an estimate and the damage to the paint is worth more than the car so its gonna be totalled, and he got that car for a killer deal like 2500 bucks a once in a lifetime deal, and now its either keep the entirely keyed car, or total it and attempt to get another one and then have to get a loan and have to get full coerage from insurance because banks require it, they really messed this whole situation by stealing from someone who DOESN't collect a welfare check unlike the trash that stole his car, but good point, at least we and he aren't as dumb as the bastards that had the nerve to steal it, they come back again they aren't leaving the apartment complex unless its in a body bag and they can bet on that!

 

I live in NYC and know a ton of people other than myself that have gotten cars broken into. Since it hurts like a b!tch to have someone F with your ride, i decided not to go all out anymore. i used to have a nice fast car but then switched and i have a (near) stock xB now. stock radio, stock seats, stock wheels (+hub caps) - stock absolutely everything.

Although it certainly does not prevent my car from being broken into, i think that having a totally stock (appearing) car LESSENS your chances of being robbed. I could just be generaliziing, I could be wrong, but this is what I do. no one has touched my box in the 1.5+ years i've owned it and i plan to keep it stock for good.

i see no reason (anymore) to put so much money/time into my car. a$$holes are like bugs - they're everywhere. so now, IF my car gets broken into, i dont have to be worried about them stealing anything valuable since i keep nothin in it!

before buying the box i was going to buy a brand new 06 bmw 3 series. but then I told myself... why? i dont use it to commute, plus, since i was paying cash for whatever car i bought, i didnt want to buy the beemer since i would flip out if it got scratched.... so i got the box and have been happy since ;]

 

keep it, they didnt steal the engine...that would been the first thing i took,always have full coverage if you cannot afford to replace your ride!
i would buy one with compleatly scerwed up paint if the body was no too bad, does he wanna sell his, i'd buy it and swap the motor to a hatch(93) hmmmmmm i prob just killed the sale, but a good gsr engine tranny is worth more than that, as well as the interior, brakes rotors etc......how bad is the body? part that _____ out!

This sucks cause a friend of mine got his Land Rover Discovery broken into recently and got all of his DJ equipment stolen and the amp to his sub box stolen...
The idiots didn't even steal his iPod that was in plain site...

 

neighbor has an evo, his wheels got stolen last week, right in front of his house, the doushbags left the car on blocks.

couple of weeks ago another neighbor had his si stolen, same guys, now im afraid to park my car outside anymore,

the ironic thing is that our neighborhood is remote, not to many people around there, just the new houses, upscale neighborhood, and we have been hit 3 times in the past month

 

I have always been very glad to have my locked garage to keep my car in at night...it is a shame that these thugs and thieves can't get a job or at least find something constructive to do besides making us hard working folk miserable...

I know it sucks, and what sucks even more is that I am afraid to bring my car back here to sacramento, so its sitting in my parents garage awaiting repairs and then im not sure whether im even gonna keep it or not, cause I don't trust it here, and as for my buddy he is taking the insurance money and gonna replace his interior and just leave the paint the way it is on the outside for now, because he was in the process of buying and installing a b18c5 prior to all this BS happening to us, so I may be posting my xb for sale soon if anyone is interested, but I am not completely sure I can get rid of my baby because of these thieves.
